Saturday Night Premiere Exhibit - A Success!

Carey Hildebrand's first Exhibit at Posers Gallery was a success! So many supporters came out from Winnipeg to show their appreciation for Carey's Laser Lit Photography and Fractal Art on Canvas. Here are some of the photos to show you this past Saturday's event!

Posers is trying something different for the season - Posers Dark Art Exhibit! We are featuring Ruination Artist, Decay Artist, Zombie Artist - Byron Rempel. He can turn your image into a zombie portrait. Look at me (before and after) - yeah, right, which is which - just look at his work!

Work for Heart 2011 Calendars Fundraiser!

Wednesday, October 20th from 7 to 9 pm, Posers Gallery will be hosting the launch for the 2011 Calendar Fundraiser for Pembina Valley Pregnancy Care Centre. Come on by to see several of the baby pictures that are in the calendar. You will be able to buy one of the first calendars on sale, monies of which will be 100% sent to Pembina Valley Pregnancy Care Centre.

Sketch/Cartooning Classes Begin Tonight!

So, tonight we begin art classes at Posers Gallery! We will be starting with sketching/cartooning classes by Zombie Artist of Southern Manitoba Byron Rempel! Check out his website at idrawzombies.com!

1st Anniversary for Posers Gallery!

Hi Everyone!
It's Posers Gallery's 1st Anniversary of their business. We had a good 1st year and want to celebrate with you by inviting everyone to our gallery for a coffee, free draws and check out the exhibits!
A new artist from Carman, Aura Guevara, will be doing here coffee painting demonstrations for everyone to see! You will not want to miss this!
At 1 p.m. the Mayor will be unveiling the Heritage Plaque for the building's 100th Anniversary!

Home from Vacation!

We just arrived home last evening from our vacation to Italy! It was wonderful - saw some favourite sights again and made new ones!

Hi, we have started the 2010 People's Choice Exhibit this week for the month of May. What is a People's Choice Exhibit? It is an exhibition for all artists that either paint with oil, acrylic, watercolour or sketch with pen, charcoal, pen, or use some form of digital work via computer or camera. Their artwork will be exhibited at Posers Gallery all month and the best part of it all, is you the viewer! You can come each and every day and vote for your favourite artist. Why vote? Because the artist with the most votes on the 29th of May will win $50.00. So come out and show your support either for an artist or for the art community. We all will appreciate it!

My daughter Sarienne and I finally started our blog tonight for the gallery. We plan on updating it as frequently as we can so that everyone will be able to see our upcoming events, new items in store and maybe interesting sites and videos that we come across to share with you.
