Ok here is the before and after results of a surface tension technique I learned in Florida last month. I don't think the pattern changed much at all when I added an opaque yellow to the back when fusing.

New Fusing Techniques!
Here are some of the new techniques I've been learning since Christmas. This is the multi-layered transparent and dichroic glass made into pendants with AAEGlass decals fired on at the end.
The next picture is of a "surface tension" technique using powdered glass mixed with water.
This last picture shows the result from combining multiple pieces of glass into a "dam" that contains the melted glass into a thick shape ready for diamond tile saw cutting, eventually making a trivet.

Extreme Fusing II January 2012!
So I'm back from my workshop with Tanya Veit in Florida and these are some of the techniques I learned from her and will be continuing to challenge myself with it all!
